Depart from Yerevan; Kars – is a town that is dominated by the ruins of the ancient castle, sits at the top a rocky hill over-  looking Kars and St. Arakelots Cathedral, Cathedral of the Holy Apostles (10th century), Armenian Old Houses & Kars Museum with the wide collection of antiquities; Lunch on the way;

DAY 2 – August 10- KARS - VAN

DAY 3  – August 11-VAN

Van-Tushpa one of the ancient and important capitals of Great Armenia in the second millennium B.C., ancient fortress of Van Kingdom, visiting the museum of VAN, ancient town and water canals area, Mher’s Door - with the famous Urartian cuneiform inscription; Akhtamar the volcanic isle; on which only the majestic Holy Cross Church has survived and has been renovated; every place with a breathtaking view of Lake Van as it has been said “Van is in this “World–Paradise is in the Next”;

DAY 4  – August 12- VAN -MUSH

Depart from Van to Mush the center of both Paganism and Christianity in Historical Armenia; Mt. Nemrut one of the most impressive worshipping grounds  connected with the weather and time

DAY 5  – August 13-MUSH -URFA

Bitlis is located on the most important pass in the eastern Taurus Mountains, the city itself fanning upward like an amphitheater from the river vale; Dianrbekir is situated on the banks of the River Tigris, where one can see the example of the military architecture of the middle ages;

DAY 6  – August 14
URFA - MEDITERRANEAN SEA

Depart from Urfa to Antakia - an early centre of Christianity, the city was the headquarters of St. Paul AD 47–55; Musa Ler  also refers to a group of Armenian villages, who put up a famous defense for survival, which was immortalized in the best-selling fictionalized account by Franz Werfel’s “The Forty Days of Musa Dagh”; Mediterranean Sea - where some of the most ancient civilizations flourished. Preparing of delicious  Harisa , live  music ,Armenian traditional songs and dances.

DAY 7  – August 15 VAGOV - ANTAKIA

Holy day:  Assumption of the Holy Mother of God (Verapokhum) . the Ceremony of the Blessing of the Grapes in the St. Mary church . At  the end tasting of traditional Armenian Harisa.

DAY 8 – August 16- ADANA

Iskenderun - one of largest ports on the Mediterranean; Dortyol - the city was known as Chork-Marzban under the Cilician Armenians, before the Turkish conquest.; Ayas - it became an important harbor city of the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia in the second half of the 13th; Adana - one of the largest and most dynamic cities the area and is the gateway to the Cilician plain

DAY 9 – August 17- ADANA

DAY 10 – August 18- ADANA - HARPUT

Levonkale; Anvaraza; Sis - in the Middle Ages Sis was the religious centre of Christian Armenians; Malatia - a beautiful central town lying in a very fertile area, surrounded by magnificent garden served by canal wing their water from the many springs in the town, HARPUT-ELAZIG.

DAY 11 – August 19 - HARPUT - ERZRUM
